No Credit Card

Defining a new way of buying and selling product and services on the Internet, is Electronic Commerce, commonly know as e-commerce or eCommerce.
Google has taken the lead in this area of electronic checkout. Google Checkout is an online payment processing service provided by Google aimed at simplifying the process of paying for online purchases. Users store their credit or debit card and shipping information in their Google Account, so that they can purchase at participating stores at the click of a button. Google Checkout also offers fraud protection, as well a unified page for tracking purchases and their status. These online checkout services are excellent alternatives to customers who do not have or do not want credit cards. Plus, they are fast and convenient to use in essence, offering the equivalent of express checkout because returning users do not have to fill out any information, even if they are buying at a new store.
Alternative payment systems are expected to be used in 30 percent of online transactions by the year 2012. Examples of alternative payment systems include PayPal, Bill Me Latter, eBillMe and Google Checkout.

  1. We use PayPal. I think they have some type of extra protection for purchases. It has saved us from fraud a time or two.
